Saidatu Jalloh was just 14 when she disappeared from her Lambeth school in March 2022. Now 15, she has been missing for over 10 months, with little clue as to her whereabouts. Despite a police appeal back in December, no new leads have surfaced. The Met Police say she could be anywhere in the UK.
Mysterious Disappearance Raises Alarm
Saidatu had only recently arrived in the UK and enrolled at her South London school. Teachers grew worried after she missed a whole week of classes and reported her missing on March 9, 2022. Concern is mounting over the unclear circumstances of her arrival and vanishing act.
“Anyone going missing for 10 months is extremely unusual. Especially if they are under the age of 18,” said Dominic Norton, founder of Missingblackpeople.com.
Police Appeal for Information
The Met Police have asked anyone who recognises Saidatu or knows her whereabouts to come forward urgently. For now, she remains a mystery — no matching immigration records, no confirmed sightings.
