Shocking Racist Attack on London Bus Driver Caught on Video
Transport for London (TfL) has slammed a vile video showing a passenger spitting at and hurling racist slurs at a London bus driver. The footage has been branded “shocking” and “appalling” by TfL.
Racist Rant Unfolds on Hayes Bus
The disturbing clip, shared widely on social media, shows a male passenger shouting “You Muslim terrorist b******” at the driver before spitting at the protective glass. The man demands the driver get off the bus. When told to leave, he briefly exits but then storms back on, slamming the partition and continuing his abuse. A bystander tries to calm things down, but the passenger ends the video still shouting vile racist abuse as he walks away.
Police Launch Investigation
The incident reportedly took place on Coldharbour Lane in Hayes, Hillingdon. The Metropolitan Police Service confirmed they are investigating the matter seriously. A spokesperson said:
“Police are aware of a video showing a bus driver being racially abused. The Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are clear that there is no place for this kind of abuse in London. We are working with Transport for London.”
Calls for Swift Justice
The shocking attack has sparked outrage online, with many demanding immediate action against the offender. TfL reiterated its commitment to protecting staff and passengers from abuse of any kind. The police are urgently appealing for any witnesses or information to help bring the culprit to justice.
