Homicide Probe Underway After Bar Incident

A 38-year-old man arrested at the scene of a violent incident has been released on police bail. Detectives are treating the case as a homicide and have expressed sympathy for the victim’s family.

Two Clashes Outside Terrace Bar

Detective Inspector Steve Menzies of the Major Investigation Team revealed the trouble involved three men being asked to leave the Terrace Bar around 8:30pm. An altercation broke out outside, followed by another incident just after 10pm.

CCTV Footage and Witness Appeal

Police have recovered CCTV footage showing multiple witnesses at the scene. DI Menzies urged anyone present or nearby who hasn’t spoken to officers yet to come forward immediately.

“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this difficult time. Your evidence, no matter how insignificant you feel it may be, could be vital to the police investigation,” he said.
