Double Tragedy in City Skyscraper: Two Men Dead, Building on Lockdown
Chaos erupted at a 46-story tower on Bishopsgate, Central London, Thursday afternoon as emergency services scrambled to a reported fall from height. Police confirmed a double murder investigation after two men died in the grim incident.
Lockdown at Sushi Samba and Surrounding Floors
Shortly after 2 p.m., City of London Police were called to reports of a person falling from the towering building on Houndsditch. Chief Superintendent Rob Atkin confirmed the “ongoing” incident, with parts of the building—including the popular Sushi Samba restaurant—placed on lockdown.
Workers trapped inside took to social media, tweeting that they were locked down as police sealed off the area.
Emergency Services Swarm the Scene
