Man Filming Police Dog in Canterbury Gets Busted with Drugs
A man out for a bit of “fun” filming a police dog and handler on a stroll ended up getting arrested after the dog sniffed out drugs on him.
Sniffer Dog Hector Sniffs Out Trouble
Hector, a drug-sniffing police dog, was training with his handler in Canterbury when this bloke started trailing them down the street, filming on his phone “for his own amusement.”
But Hector wasn’t having it. The clever canine quickly picked up the scent of drugs on the man, tipping off his handler.
Large Quantity of Cannabis Found
Officer and dog stopped the man for a search, uncovering a “large quantity of cannabis.” Not quite the footage the man had in mind!
Kent Police Tactical Operations tweeted:
“While Hector was training, this male followed him and his handler down Canterbury High Street, filming them for his own amusement, only for Hector to turn and indicate on him.
The subsequent search found a quantity of Cannabis on the male #TooEasy #DrugsDog”
Looks like Hector’s training was more productive than ever – proving once again that you can’t mess with a police dog.
