Thieves Swipe Animal Shelters and More Near Maidstone

Bold thieves struck a field near Maidstone, making off with two wooden animal shelters, two gates, and a trough. The theft happened on Forstal Road sometime between 6pm on Sunday, 30 August and 6pm Tuesday, 1 September 2020.

Van or Truck Needed for The Heist

Inspector Oliver O’Brien from the Maidstone Community Safety Unit revealed the criminals likely entered through a gate opposite Cobtree Manor Park. “They would have needed a truck or a van to remove these bulky items,” he said.

Police Call for Witnesses

The police are asking the public to come forward with any information or dashcam footage that could crack the case. Anyone who can help should call 01622 604100 and quote crime reference 46/156345/20.
