Man Brutally Attacked Outside Maidstone Petrol Station

Detectives are hunting witnesses after a savage assault left a man with serious injuries in Maidstone.

Violent Attack on London Road at Midnight

The incident happened around midnight on Sunday, 20 September 2020, outside a petrol garage and supermarket on London Road, near the Stanford Drive junction.

The victim was reportedly approached on the pavement and then viciously punched, kicked, and stamped on in a prolonged attack. Emergency services rushed him to hospital with multiple head and facial injuries.

Police Urge Locals and Drivers to Come Forward

Detective Constable Kate Humpheryes of West Kent CID said: “This was an extremely violent assault which has left the victim suffering some appalling injuries. We believe the suspect is known to the victim and are working hard to locate and arrest him.”

She added: “At some stage both of them spilled into the road. We are urging motorists who may have been in the area to check their dashcam footage. Residents should also review any home security or doorbell camera clips.”
