The fatal smash happened at around 11:26pm on Sunday, 14 April. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are probing the scene and working hard to piece together exactly what led to the deadly crash.
Two Others Injured but Expected to Recover
Two other passengers escaped with non-life threatening injuries. Both remain stable and are receiving support while they recover.
Families Supported as Police Appeal for Witnesses
Specially trained officers are working closely with the bereaved families to provide support during this devastating time.
Detective Sergeant Paul Jackson, leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts remain with the families of Mohamad, Mohammed, and Sohail as they come to terms with this heartbreaking loss. We will support them in every way we can.
The two other passengers are stable and we hope they make a full recovery.
“There’s been some speculation on social media about the car’s behaviour before the crash. However, evidence so far suggests the vehicle was not racing or performing stunts as reported.
“These were three young lives lost far too soon. Our investigation continues and their families deserve answers. We urge anyone who saw anything or has dashcam footage to come forward.”
