London has been rocked by a fresh wave of knife violence, with three stabbing incidents hitting the capital in under two days. The attacks, between April 23 and 25, struck in Bermondsey and Kilburn, reigniting fears over the city’s knife crime epidemic.
Double Stabbing Near Kilburn High Road Station
Just after midday on April 25, chaos erupted near Kilburn High Road station when a man and woman were slashed in a violent attack. Emergency teams raced to the scene, finding a woman in her 20s injured and a man in his 50s with a slash wound to his hand.
Both victims were rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police confirmed the pair knew each other. A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession of an offensive weapon. Before custody, he was treated at hospital.
Stabbing Horror in Bermondsey
Two days earlier, on April 23, a man in his 30s was chased and stabbed in Bermondsey’s Camilla Road. Paramedics, including an air ambulance, arrived to find him seriously injured with a chest wound. The victim was swiftly taken to hospital; his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The assailant fled the scene on a motorbike. So far, no arrests have been made, and police are actively investigating the brutal attack.
