A three-year-old girl was left with severe leg injuries after the savage attack. Paramedics rushed her to hospital, where she remains in treatment.

Dog Owner Flees Scene, Police Hunt Suspect

Officers say the dog’s owner vanished before they arrived. No arrests have been made yet.

“Officers are investigating an alleged dog attack which happened at around 12:50pm on Wednesday, 24 September in Rectory Fields, Ealing,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.

“The three-year-old girl was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service for severe leg injuries.”

“It is believed the dog’s owner left the scene before police arrived. No arrests have been made at this stage.”

“Anyone with info about the dog owner or who witnessed the attack should contact the Met via 101, quoting 01/8008839/25.”

The police are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward and help catch the culprit behind this shocking attack.
