Man, 30, Dies After Crash on A342 – Police Hunt Dashcam Footage
Tragic news from the A342 where Jason Plested, 30, lost his life following a collision with a silver Volkswagen Golf. The incident happened just after 9pm on Saturday, April 7, on the northbound stretch.
Family Mourns Devastating Loss
Jason, who lived in Colliers Wood, south west London, was a much-loved son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, and grandson. His family paid a heartfelt tribute today:

Police Investigate, Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers now believe no other vehicles were involved, but investigations into what exactly happened continue. PC Katherine Carr from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit urged anyone on the A342 between 9pm and 9.15pm to come forward.
