Tragedy on A34: Vipin Kumar, 43, from Reading, died in a shocking three-vehicle crash at Bullington Cross on July 3. The collision involved a lorry, a Peugeot van, and Vipin’s Toyota Auris.

Vipin was declared dead at the scene. Today, his loved ones paid a heartfelt tribute.

“Vipin was an excellent dad that no one could compete with,” they said. “A loving husband and a mischievous son, he had a charm that made everyone feel like his best friend.

“His jolly nature and sharp, sarcastic wit could win anyone’s heart. He will be deeply missed and remembered forever.”

Ongoing Investigation as Lorry Driver Arrested

Police continue to probe the exact cause of the fatal collision. The lorry driver, a 40-year-old man from Huddersfield, was arrested on multiple charges including causing death by dangerous driving and drug and alcohol offences.

Although he has been released from custody, the investigation remains open.
