24 Arrested in Massive Enfield Drugs and Gang Crackdown

Early today, Thursday 13 June, police swooped on Enfield in a major operation that saw 24 people arrested over drugs, gang activity, and violence. Local fears over drug dealing near Ponders Park sparked an intelligence-led blitz aimed squarely at the dealers causing misery in the community.

Drugs, Cash, and Gang Links Seized in Raids

The raids uncovered piles of cocaine and cannabis, plus several thousand pounds in cash. Many of those arrested have ties to local gangs and were hauled off to North 1 police stations, where they’re currently held in custody.

Detective Inspector Speaks Out on Community Safety

“Today is the result of months of hard graft targeting gang members and those involved in drug-fuelled violence,” said Detective Inspector Stephen Masterson of the North Area Proactive Policing team.

“Drug dealing is absolutely tied to the violence we’ve seen on the streets – it tears communities apart and puts families at risk. We’ll crack down hard on anyone who profits from peddling drugs, exploits vulnerable people, and makes public spaces unsafe for a quick buck.”

“Often, drug dealers spark violent crimes and drag young people into danger and criminal records. Our officers will keep fighting to root out this toxic trade and protect local communities from the violence and linked crimes that come with it.”

“If you’re involved in drug supply, don’t delude yourself – we’ll use every legal tool to bring you to justice.”

Police Urge Community to Come Forward
