Teen Girl Shot in Camden Drive-By – Four Hospitalised After Night of Violence
Gunfire and Stabbings Rock Camden
A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after being hit by bullets in a terrifying drive-by shooting in Camden late on Saturday night. Armed police and paramedics scrambled to Clarence Gardens, NW1, around 10pm on August 14 following the shocking attack.
The random shooting left a large crime scene cordoned off as investigators hunted for the suspects. Witnesses described a speeding car tearing through the block party before unleashing five rounds from an automatic weapon. One bullet struck the young woman, believed to be in her teens.
Man Stabbed Amid Chaos
The violence didn’t stop there. A man was reportedly stabbed in the same area while the block party was underway. Police deployed a helicopter in an urgent search for the getaway vehicle and perpetrators.
“There were about five loud bangs, then a car zipped around the corner. I watched the girl fall and cry out in pain. I ran over to help and kept telling her she’d be alright. I stayed with her until the police arrived,” said a bystander.
Four People Now in Hospital
Sources confirm four people are in hospital following the ordeal. Emergency services found two gunshot victims at Clarence Gardens. Later, a man and woman arrived at hospital themselves, reportedly with gunshot wounds.
Police remain at the scene and investigations are ongoing as Camden reels from a violent night of gunfire and stabbings in the heart of NW London.
