Aggravated Burglary Shocker in Stapleford – Two Men Hospitalised

Early Hours Attack in Nottingham Road

Detective Sergeant Matthew Dumbrell of Nottinghamshire Police revealed that officers rushed to Nottingham Road, Stapleford, at 1.45am on Thursday, 20 April, after reports of an aggravated burglary.

Victims Hurt by Unknown Substance

Two men were hospitalised following an attack involving an unknown substance. Fortunately, their injuries are not life-threatening or life-altering, police confirmed.

Drugs Seized and Two Arrested

Inside the property, officers discovered a quantity of suspected cannabis. Two men, aged 19 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Dumbrell added that multi-agency investigations are ongoing to get to the bottom of the incident. Anyone with information is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 36 of 20 April 2023.
