Teen Held After Brazen Bike Robbery in West Swindon

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested following a robbery at West Swindon District Centre that left a 15-year-old fearing for his safety.

Victim Forced to Hand Over Bike Near Link Centre

The shocking incident took place around 3.30pm on October 26, near the football pitch behind the Link Centre. A group of strangers confronted the teenage victim, demanding his bike. Fearing violence, the boy reluctantly handed it over.

Teen Arrested and Released on Bail

Police launched an immediate investigation. The 13-year-old suspect from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. He has since been released on conditional bail as enquiries continue.
