Crash Chaos on Norden Road: Two Cops and Teen Hurt in Early Morning Smash

Thames Valley Police are hunting for witnesses after a nasty collision on Norden Road, Maidenhead, at around 5.30am today (2/9).

Silver Ford Focus Hits Parked Police Car and Prius

A silver Ford Focus smashed into two stationary vehicles — a marked police car and a Toyota Prius. The crash left two police officers seriously injured, though thankfully their injuries are not life-threatening. A teenage girl is also seriously hurt and currently in hospital.

Three Others Suffer Minor Injuries

Besides the seriously injured, three more people received minor injuries and have been treated. Support is being provided to all those affected and their families as the investigation continues.

Two Men Arrested, Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Two 24-year-old men are in police custody following their arrests related to the crash. Sergeant Darren Brown from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit said:

“We’re in the early stages of this investigation and ask anyone who saw a silver Ford Focus driving along Norden Road around 5.30am, or witnessed the collision, to come forward. Dash cam footage from passing motorists would be especially helpful.”
