Kent Roads Policing are scrambling after a serious incident slammed the A2 at Wilmington, Dartford. Both sides of the motorway are completely closed, sparking chaos during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Crash Blocks Key Route – Emergency Services On Scene
Just after 3am on 12th November 2022, officers and paramedics rushed to the scene. Multiple vehicles are stranded on the coastbound carriageway, while police and ambulance crews block the London-bound side. All lanes remain shut as investigations get underway.
A National Highways spokesman confirmed: “The A2 in Kent is closed both ways between the M25/A282 and A2018 near Dartford due to a Kent Police-led incident. Closures will stay in place for police work. National Highways Traffic Officers are assisting on site.”

- Westbound: From M25 J2, take the A225 (Princes Road), then rejoin the A2 at Dartford Heath.
