Kent Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses after a crash on the A228 near Snodland caused a van to overturn.

The smash unfolded at around 4:15pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. The collision took place between the Leybourne Lakes Country Park roundabout and the Rocfort Road junction. A grey Vauxhall Astra and a silver Ford van collided, leaving the van flipped over.

Emergency teams rushed to the scene. The van’s driver was injured but later discharged from hospital after treatment. Police are now keen to speak to anyone who saw the crash or the vehicles just before the accident.
