Urgent Search Underway for Missing 80-Year-Old in Winchester
Anthony Hayter, 80, vanished after leaving his Winchester home around 12.30pm on Sunday, 10 March. He told family he was just popping out for a short walk — but hasn’t been seen since.
Growing Concern for Anthony’s Welfare
Inspector Louise Kennedy said: “Together with Anthony’s family, we are growing increasingly worried for his safety. Anthony has connections to the nearby area, so he may have travelled beyond Winchester.”
Residents in Winchester and Ringwood are urged to check their sheds and outbuildings for any sign of Anthony, as he might be sheltering there.

- White male, slim build, short black hair
- Two olive-coloured fleeces
- White shirt
- Loose brown cord trousers
- Green hat with three fishing flies attached
- May be using a walking stick
