Teenager Killed in Christchurch Road Horror

Police are hunting witnesses after a deadly crash in Christchurch that left a 16-year-old boy dead. The tragic collision between a car and pedestrian happened at 9.37pm on Friday, 30 June 2023, on Parley Lane near Bournemouth Airport.

Man Arrested as Investigation Continues

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but sadly the teenager died instantly. His family have been informed, and the coroner is involved. A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.

Call for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

“Tragically, a young person has lost his life and our thoughts are with his family at this incredibly difficult time,” said Inspector Craig Tatton of the Roads Policing Team.

“We are conducting a thorough investigation to establish the full circumstances of the incident and I would urge any witnesses to please contact us. I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything relevant on dashcam footage.”

“We know the road closure is causing disruption, but it’s vital to gather all the evidence. Thanks for your patience.”
