Woman Sexually Assaulted on Path in Broad Daylight
A terrifying attack unfolded at around 6.20pm on Wednesday, 4 May 2022, when a woman was approached and sexually assaulted on a path between Merton Lane North and Stuppington Lane.
Suspect Flees on E-Bike
The attacker, described as a white man in his early 20s, about 5ft 8ins tall, made abusive comments before the assault. He fled the scene riding a bicycle, possibly an electric one. Witnesses reported he was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper, black trousers, and a bandana.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
