Wandsworth Tragedy: Elderly Pedestrian Killed in Shocking Crash

A pensioner has died after being hit by a grey Peugeot 307 in Wandsworth on Tuesday afternoon.

Collision Details

Police were called at 1:39pm to the crash at the junction of McDermott Close and Ingrave Street, SW11. The victim, a man in his 80s, was rushed to a south London hospital with serious injuries but tragically died in the early hours of Wednesday morning (June 5).

Driver Arrested for Drug Driving

The car driver, a woman in her 40s, stayed at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. She has since been released under investigation.
