Detectives are hunting witnesses after a woman was injured in a shocking collision in Canning Town.

Van Stolen, Pedestrian Struck on Nottingham Avenue

Police rushed to Nottingham Avenue, E16, just before noon on Sunday, 9 June, after reports a black Mercedes Vito van was stolen. The vehicle, bearing registration WR12 LD0, struck a woman in her 50s as it sped away.

Victim Taken to Hospital, Injuries Not Life-Threatening

The injured woman was rushed to a central London hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening and remain stable.

Van Last Seen Heading Toward Prince Regent Lane

Officers say the stolen van headed towards Prince Regent Lane after the collision. No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing.
