Woman Stabbed Outside Co-op in Headington – Police Hunt Suspect

Police have launched a manhunt in Headington, Oxford after a woman was stabbed outside a local Co-op shop on London Road this afternoon.

Stabbing Sparks Police Search

Thames Valley Police were called at 3.10pm following the attack. The suspect, described as a large-built black man with short dark hair, fled the scene towards Stile Road wearing a green bomber jacket and tracksuit. The victim was rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries.

Suspect Still On The Loose

Detective Inspector Jim Holmes said: “Enquiries are ongoing in the area to locate the offender. Although we are in the early stages of our investigation, it is believed that the victim is known to the offender.”

He added: “People may notice a heavier police presence while our investigation continues. This happened in a busy area, so we urge anyone who witnessed the attack or has dash-cam footage to come forward.”
