Fire Crews called to deal with House fire in Lee on the Solent

Fire Crews from Gosport and Fareham have been called to tackle a house fire in Lee on the Solent this evening. Crews have been mobilised to Magister Drive, Lee on Solen. The Road has been closed by officers from Hampshire Police to assist Fire crew who are currently tackling the well developed blaze. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. A number of Fire appliances along with officers have been sent to the scene just after 6.30pm A spokesman from Hampshire Fire and Rescue said: ‘We were called out at around 6pm earlier this evening. ‘The fire was in a first floor apartment, and we sent four appliances – two of which were from Gosport – out to the scene. ‘From our understanding the fire initially broke out in the roof of the building.’ Hampshire Fire and Rescue clarified that nobody was injured in the incident.
