Halloween Chaos as Group of Teens Sets Off Fireworks on Sutton High Street

A group of around 20 teenagers caused chaos on Sutton High Street this Halloween evening, setting off fireworks in public areas and alarming residents. Two passersby were struck by a stray firework rocket, though no serious injuries have been reported.

Residents described the scene as frightening, with fireworks ignited in the streets and nearby roads. In one instance, every pane of glass on a resident’s front door was shattered, leaving the family, including young children, shaken and fearful. “Our children are terrified,” the homeowner shared.

Police have since responded to reports of the disturbances, and additional patrols have been deployed in the area to restore order and ensure public safety. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any further fireworks misuse.

This incident adds to a number of “fireworks wars” seen across the UK in recent weeks, as groups have been using fireworks in reckless and dangerous ways, posing a threat to both residents and public property. Local authorities are considering measures to prevent similar disruptions, especially during peak holiday seasons.
