Birmingham Police have arrested a second man as part of an ongoing investigation into a gunfire incident that occurred in Aston over the weekend. The 19-year-old was taken into custody in the early hours of Monday following the disorder at the junction of Witton Road and Endicott Road just after 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.
The suspect remains in police custody on suspicion of assisting an offender, while a 21-year-old man also remains under arrest on suspicion of violent disorder.
Police are conducting high-visibility patrols in the area to reassure residents as investigations continue. CCTV footage is being reviewed as officers work to identify all those involved in the incident.
