Urgent Search Underway for Missing London Grandad
Edward Baller, 79, vanished after leaving his North Kensington flat around noon on Saturday, 28 August. He was heading to a property he rents out in Wincott Street, Kennington, but never returned.
Worries Mount as Edward Still Missing
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the search. He said, “Our concerns for Edward’s welfare are growing by the day.”
Edward is vulnerable, and police fear he could have suffered a medical emergency stopping him from contacting family. Officers are keeping Edward’s loved ones updated and investigating whether he may have come to harm.
Police Plead for Public’s Help
- Ongoing searches continue at Wincott Street and nearby areas.
- CCTV, door-to-door enquiries, and hospital checks are underway.
- The public, especially local residents, are urged to review dash cam or doorbell footage that might show Edward.
Edward’s family are devastated and desperate for answers. Edward was last seen wearing dark trousers, a denim jacket, and carrying a denim bag. He is white, of average height and build, with grey hair.
