Delivery Driver Brutally Stabbed to death in Hackney

A Delivery driver who was brutally stabbed death in Hackey in the early hours of this morning has been man named locally as Kaan Aslan he was murdered on his way home from a late shift. An investigation has been launched in Hackney this morning following the fatal stabbing. Shocked family members broken down in the street yards from his home and the murder scene as dectecvies arrived to continue their investigations.

_psEmbed(“https:///uknip.photoshelter.com”); A Police spokesman said: Police were called by London Ambulance Service to reports of a stabbing at Monteagle Way, Nightingale Estate, E5 at around 0001hrs on Tuesday, 14 November. At the scene a 21-year-old male was treated by medical professionals for a stab wound to the chest. Sadly, he died at the scene at 0015hrs. Detectives know the identity of the victim and next of kin have been notified. However, no formal identification has taken place. There have been no arrests at this stage and enquiries are ongoing. A crime scene has been established and local road closures are in place. Officers anticipate significant traffic disruption in the area surrounding the incident scene. Road users are advised to avoid the area where possible and use alternative routes. At this early stage officers retain an open mind regarding motive. The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the vicinity of Monteagle Way and the Nightingale Estate at around midnight on Monday, 13 November into Tuesday, 14 November.
