Fire crews called to hay bales well alight Fire crews from Newport and East Cowes...
Fire crews from Newport and East Cowes are currently dealing with 30 hay bales well alight in East Cowes. Crews from both stations were mobilised just 9pm on Monday evening. A large number of haybales are alight within a field off Folly Lane, just off the main Whippingham Road. Land Rover from Ryde and a water carrier from Freshwater have also been sent to support crews at the incident. More to follow
