Fire Crews called to roof fire in Northampton Town
Northampton Fire and Rescue are currently working with Police and the East Midlands Ambulance Service to deal with a fire at the top of Abington Street in Northampton. Seven pumps are in attendance and the following road closures have been put in place: • Lower Mounts junction with St Michael’s Road • Abington Square • York Road junction with Billing Road • Abington Street A spokesman for the Fire service said that they don’t believe at this time that anyone has been hurt. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area while we deal with the fire.
