Man Dies following fatal collision in Kingestion

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 30s sadly died following a single vehicle collision on the A240 on Friday evening (August 11th). The collision occurred at around 8:30pm on the Kingston Road at the junction with Ruxley Lane in Ewell and involved a dark grey Ford Focus. Road closures were put in the place whilst emergency services, including the air ambulance, attended the scene. A man in his 30s was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting but sadly later died from his injuries on Sunday (August 13th). Officers investigating the collision are appealing for anyone who saw it, or the events leading up to it, to contact Surrey Police’s Collision Investigation Unit on 01483 639922 or call 101 quoting reference number P17203602
