Motorcyclist Dies after New Forest Crash

Police have confirm that a motorcyclist injured following a collision on the A337 last month has died. Police were called to the A337, between Lymington and Everton, at 4.45pm on September 19 to reports of a three vehicle collision. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Polo and a motorcycle. The 73-year-old motorcyclist from the New Forest was taken to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, he died as a result of those injuries on Tuesday, October 4. Officers are supporting his next of kin and formal identification procedures are ongoing.
