Motorcyclist Dies after New Forest Crash

Police have confirm that a motorcyclist injured following a collision on the A337 last month has died. Police were called to the A337, between Lymington and Everton, at 4.45pm on September 19 to reports of a three vehicle collision. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Polo and a motorcycle. The 73-year-old motorcyclist from the New Forest was taken to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, he died as a result of those injuries on Tuesday, October 4. Officers are supporting his next of kin and formal identification procedures are ongoing. Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision continue and anyone with information is asked to call Sgt Steve Antrobus on 101, quoting 44160354534.
