Offenders makes off with Cash in Wallingford Robbery

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a Tesco store on Ilges Lane, Cholsey, Wallingford on Sunday (19/8). At some time between 9:50pm to 9:55pm, two men with their faces covered in scarves and hoods entered the store. One of the men had a small knife and threatened the shop worker to hand over money from the till. A quantity of cash was handed over to the offenders and they fled on foot. Both offenders were dressed in black and grey hooded jumpers, with jogging bottoms and black trainers. Investigating Officer DC Christopher Cassidy, of Force CID at Abingdon station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident. “Any amount of information will be helpful to us with our investigation.” Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote 43180254784.
