Tributes Paid to Laura Westbrook after fatal A3 Crash Near Petersfield

Friends have paid tributes to a popular friend who died on the A3 near Petersfield. A former nursery nurse named locally as Laura Westbrook car was involved in an incident on the southbound carriageway of the A3 just after 11pm on Thursday Night. The Vauxhall Corsa she had been driving home from work flipped on to its roof after leaving the carriageway hitting the central grass bank. A second driver, who had been driving a black Ford focus a 26-year-old man from Portsmouth, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving a motor vehicle when the proportion of a controlled drug is suspected to be over the prescribed limit. Police say the male suspect is helping with their enquiries and there is no evidence to suggest at this stage that the two vehicles collided.
