Eighty firefighters are currently battling a blaze at an East London tower block after an explosion ripped through the property just before 6pm on Thursday evening.
Crews from stations across London have been called to Bedworth Court on Granby Street in Bethnal Green where it’s reported that people are unaccounted for. A large cordon has been put in place and members of the public are being advised to avoid the area.
The cause of the blaze is not currently known but part of the third and windows was blown out.
The LFB has been approached for comment
