£70k BMW Write-Off After Shocking Weybridge Crash
The A317 Queens Road in Weybridge was shut both ways after a dramatic smash involving three vehicles. The smash happened between Pine Grove and York Road, snarling traffic for nearly two hours.
Collision Chaos on Queens Road
The crash involved a parked £70,000 BMW X5 40D, a black Audi A4, and another grey BMW X5. The pricey BMW was a total write-off after the impact.
The Audi slammed into the 4×4 with such force it ripped off the rear wheel and driveshaft. Witnesses say the damage was severe.
Police & Recovery Teams Rush In
Surrey Police and recovery crews quickly arrived on scene. They winched the wrecked BMW and Audi onto flatbed lorries, clearing the road of debris.
The grey BMW was also damaged but didn’t need recovery, sparing the driver a tow.
Traffic was snarled for nearly two hours while officers worked to clear the aftermath.
