Tragic Crash Claims Lives of Patrick Davidson and Hazel Allan
Fatal Land Rover Crash at Achavanich
Patrick Davidson, 46, from Garve, and Hazel Allan, 50, from Thurso, died in a crash at Achavanich, north of Latheron. Patrick was driving a white Land Rover Defender with Hazel as a passenger when the incident happened shortly after 11.40am on Tuesday, 29 November.
Road Closure and Ongoing Probe
The road remained shut until around 9.30pm as police investigated the scene. Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “Our thoughts remain with Patrick and Hazel’s families at this very difficult time.”
He added: “Our enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I would urge anyone who may be able to help and hasn’t yet spoken to police to come forward.”
Call for Witnesses
Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1064 of 29 November.
Both families have asked for privacy during this tragic time.
