While no casualties were reported in Lviv, the city suffered heavy damage. More than 100 homes were hit, 500 windows blown out, and a nursery playground was wrecked. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi revealed that missile interceptions prevented worse, but some rockets still struck the city. A burning apartment block forced urgent evacuations.

Ukraine’s air force shot down 16 of at least 28 missiles fired by Russia overnight. To tighten security, Kyiv is funneling around £25 million to bolster borders in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.
