A heartbreaking accident has occurred in Carrick-on-Suir’s Castle Heights estate. Around 4pm on Tuesday, a toddler playing near her home was struck by a bus.
Child Dies Shortly After Impact
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the young girl was pronounced dead shortly after. Her body has been taken to South Tipperary General Hospital for a post mortem examination.

The crash site remains cordoned off for a forensic investigation. Gardaí at Carrick-on-Suir are urgently appealing for witnesses or anyone with mobile phone or dashcam footage to come forward.
