A stretch of the A2 is currently closed after a shocking collision between two motorbikes and a car near Wilmington. The London-bound carriageway remains shut, causing snarling traffic jams stretching from the M25 at Darenth Interchange all the way to the A2018 Old Bexley Lane at Dartford Heath.

The smash happened around 8am this morning (May 10). Police, paramedics, fire engines, and ambulances rushed to the site, with eyewitnesses reporting seven police cars, two fire engines, and two ambulances speeding to the crash.
The air ambulance was also spotted circling above, highlighting the severity of the incident.
