- Turn onto the A22 southbound towards A27 and Eastbourne.
- At Pevensey Haven roundabout, continue west on A27 or rejoin A259 at Pevensey.

- From A259/A27 Pevensey Roundabout, take A27 westbound towards Polegate.
- At Cop Hall Roundabout, switch to A22 northbound.
