A3 Northbound Shut After Multi-Vehicle Crash
The A3 Northbound between Junction 4 Purbrook Way and Junction 3 B2150 Waterlooville was closed this morning after a serious road traffic collision involving several vehicles.
Massive Delays Back to Farlington
Traffic was backed up past Junction 5 at A2030 Farlington as emergency crews worked at the scene. The closure went up just before 8:50am, sparking chaos for commuters during rush hour.
Police Urge Drivers to Avoid Area
Officers from Hampshire and Thames Valley Police’s joint operation unit have not yet confirmed how long the road will remain shut. Drivers were urged to find alternative routes to bypass the closure.
UPDATE: Road Reopens but Delays Persist
The A3 Northbound has since reopened between Junction 4 and Junction 3 B2150 Waterlooville. However, delays continue to stretch back past Junction 5 at Farlington, so expect heavy traffic for some time yet.
