Serious Crash on A90 Near Temple of Fiddes
Police are hunting witnesses after a crash on the A90 near Temple of Fiddes on Wednesday afternoon, July 12. The smash, which happened around 4.35pm, involved a white Mercedes Viano van and a white DAF lorry.
Two Women Injured, Man Arrested Then Released
Two women, aged 60 and 57, travelling in the Mercedes sustained serious injuries. Both were rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and are now in stable condition. A 56-year-old man was arrested over the incident but has since been released while police continue their inquiries.
Road Closed for Six Hours as Investigation Ongoing
Emergency services closed the A90 for about six hours to investigate the collision and clear the scene. Sergeant Sarah Ritchie from the North East Road Policing Unit said the probe is still underway.
