Armed Police and helicopter called to Bexleyheath

Armed police and a police helicopter were involved in a search for a man reportedly carrying a gun in the Long Lane area and  Russell Park area around 2:00pm on Sunday. Armed Police And Helicopter Called To Bexleyheath   Despite an extensive search   No one with a weapon was located by officers and the search was called off. A spokesman for the Met Police said: Searches had been carried out but nothing had been found and the officers were stood down.
