Bear Grylls’ Gone Wild Festival Returns with a Bang in 2024
The much-loved Bear Grylls’ Gone Wild Festival is back for 2024, promising families an epic outdoor adventure they won’t forget. This year, the festival expands to two stunning locations across the UK.
Two Incredible Venues for Ultimate Family Fun
- Holkham Hall, Norfolk (8-11 August): Set in the heart of Norfolk’s gorgeous countryside, Holkham Hall offers the perfect spot for families craving outdoor thrills.
- Powderham Castle, Devon (22-25 August): Historic Powderham Castle provides a spectacular backdrop combining natural beauty and exhilarating activities.
Festival Defies Industry Crisis with Adventure and Entertainment
Despite a tough time for festivals—with soaring costs and 172 events closed since 2019—Gone Wild is charging ahead. With over 150 adrenaline-filled activities, lively entertainment, and a family-friendly vibe, it’s a breath of fresh air away from the usual music fest crowd.
Bear Grylls: “We wanted to create a festival that gets families outside, having fun and making memories together.”
Co-founder Oliver Mason is just as proud. “While 43 festivals folded in 2024, we’ve stood strong. We’re delivering thrills, laughs, and unforgettable moments.”
Expect wild adventures like abseiling, water sports, and inspiring stories from Bear Grylls and Sir Ranulph Fiennes. When night falls, enjoy live gigs from stars like Sam Ryder, The Feeling, Jake Shears, and McFly.
