Two Sex Predators Jailed for Bristol Guest House Rape
Two calculating sex offenders have been locked up over a brutal rape at a Bristol guest house six years ago. Riaz Muhammed, 51, from Easton, and Muhammed Zahid, 46, from St Philips, were convicted at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday, 17 December, after an eight-day trial.
Cold-Blooded Attack at Bristol Guest House
The court heard that in 2019, Muhammed, a taxi driver, picked up the vulnerable victim and drove her around Bristol. He then paid for her stay at a guest house he knew well. Muhammed had planned the attack and arranged for his friend Zahid to join him at the premises.
Chilling Ordeal While Victim Unconscious
In a horrific and planned assault, the two men raped the woman while she was unconscious. The court revealed the full extent of their callous control and cruelty during the attack.
Harsh Sentences for Sexual Predators
- Riaz Muhammed was sentenced to nine years in prison.
- Muhammed Zahid received an eight-year term.
Both will serve two thirds of their sentences before being released on licence. The victim and local community can now breathe a little easier with these dangerous men behind bars.
