Co-op Food Recall: Dangerous Date Mix-Up on Ready Meals

Shoppers beware! Co-op has wrongly labelled several products with a “use by” date of 1 July 2022, instead of the correct date, 1 June 2022. This could put customers at risk of food poisoning.

Products Affected

  • Co-op Peri Peri Chicken Pasta Bowl, 280g
  • Co-op Prawn Marie Rose Layered Salad, 280g

Health Risk Warning

The incorrect labelling means these products might go bad sooner than the date on the packaging suggests. Eating them after the real use by date (1 June 2022) could lead to bacterial growth and cause serious illness.

What to Do If You Bought One

If you’ve got these products at home, do not eat them. Return them to your nearest Co-op store immediately for a full refund. Stay safe and check your fridge now!
