Man Critically Injured in Walthamstow Van Crash – Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Detectives are hunting witnesses after a horrific collision in Walthamstow left a man fighting for his life. The 28-year-old victim sustained serious head and leg injuries when he was struck by a commercial van on Forest Road.
Serious Crash Near Hale End Road
The smash happened at 5.24pm on Tuesday, 3 March, near the junction with Hale End Road. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a pedestrian being hit by the van.
Man in Critical Condition
The victim was rushed to an east London hospital and remains in a critical condition. Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are leading the inquiry.
